Neener Rights, or: i won i won i wo-on

Heh. I lost more weight this week and SOOOOO Lydia, my lovely, beautiful, wonderful friend Lydia will be wearing a bridesmaid dress (yet to be purchased at a thrift store) to ObX one Tuesday, coming soon. Since I didn't win ANY weeks or the final, I'm so happy to have won something: Neener Rights!
In the end I lost 13 pounds/7% tbw. That's pretty good and puts me 6 ell bees from my goal of 165. Of course I'm feasting on cheese and bread tonight. 'I'll think about it tomorrow." hehe.

Done!

Well, Pascale and I are officially finished. I can't say I got where I wanted, but I'm also pleased I'm not where I started. Considering the stress I have personally had, along with other....more public stress...., considering random pharmaceutical adjustments to my cycles, considering the totally crappy weather we had this winter, I'm ok with my finish.

I did not post an overall gain. In fact, I'm down 10lbs from my top weight (which was not my start weight). I've made a few small… Continue

This Is It

My last day. My last moment to dream of what funny looking garment I can 'inflict' on Lydia.
Has anyone besides Chuck and Pascale lost a marked amount of weight? Has anyone achieved a goal? I'm halfway to my destination, which is good. So thanks, Lydia. I'll say it now in case you win the bet and I'm unhappy with you later...

'Neener' Rights

I LOVE this phrase. It's my new baby. I want Neener Rights for everything. I want to be HSBLs Neener Week 12 Bosswoman. But mostly I want Lydia to be the victim of my 'garment of choice.' Yeah baby.
Of course, should Lydia win, I will willingly wear whatever hideousness she hands my way. Not only will I wear it. I will OWN it.
But I"m going to win.

A New Challenge

Okay, I will have to admit that this challenge has not been working for me. I lost a little weight at the beginning, and I haven't gained any weight back, but... I have definitely petered out. Somehow I am not ashamed to weigh in without a good result, I am not ashamed to have not won *any weeks at all* and I am not humiliated by defeat. I was discussing this with Tina on Tuesday and we decided that for this last week, we would add a challenge, just between Tina and me.

The winner… Continue

I am not into the public weigh ins! I prefer the doing it privately with a buddy. Don't even share my # with my hubby, just funny that way :)

Maybe home scales could be brought to the initial weigh in and calibrated with the "official" scale. So we'd weigh in on the official scale, then immediately weigh ourselves again on our personal scale. Then we’d adjust all…

I agree with Danielle... the scale you weigh on makes a difference. Personally I'd rather stick to my scale. I don't go naked but i usually go first thing in the morning before i put anything in my mouth and no pants LOL. Plus i liked the…

The problem with a public scale is it's not the one that has been used all along for the participants, so unless you don't weigh in on any scale in the meantime, the numbers you see at home could be meaningless in comparison. Plus, when I…

I suggest promoting it on the homeschooling lists. If you promote it as a summer thing, maybe have the final weigh-in be in a MANDATORY bathing suit... I don't know...

Alright guys and gals, currently we have seven participants. Reach out to your homeschooling brehtren and find the rest of the competitors. It looks like we will attempt Lydia's idea of one weigh-in up front and one weigh-in at the end. Winner…
